The organisers of the UK’s largest geospatial event, GEO Business 2018, have issued a call to those working at the cutting edge of geospatial developments to submit their abstracts for a newly launched seminar programme to be held at the Business Design Centre in London, UK from 22 - 23 May 2018.

The GEO Business team are seeking revolutionary and thought provoking abstracts that truly demonstrate the remarkable impact geospatial technologies and solutions are having on our global environment. The brand new seminar programme will run alongside a strategic senior level conference of invited speakers. It will also sit outside the well-established commercial workshop programme which is hosted by exhibitors demonstrating their latest products and services.

Over the two day event, expert presenters will explore how geospatial solutions have enabled projects to run more efficiently, ensuring that they are delivered on time, whilst saving money and reducing risk. The GEO Business team are looking for abstracts within a variety of industry sectors, however abstracts within the following fields are of particular interest: Architecture, Engineering & Construction; Asset Management; Environmental; Heritage; Highways; Instruction & Monitoring; Insurance; Proptech and Commercial Property; Rail; Robotics & Automation; Safety & Security; Tunneling & Mining; Utilities and Water.

Abstracts on the following technologies and applications are also of interest (but are not limited to): Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, BIM; GIS & Big Data; Laser Scanning; Mobile Mapping; Remote Sensing; Smart Cities; Surveying; UAVs and Visualisation.

All interested parties are asked to submit an abstract online at www.GeoBusinessShow.com before the deadline of 29 January 2018.

All the submitted abstracts will be reviewed and the final programme will be launched in March 2018.

GEO Business is designed for everyone involved in the gathering, storing, processing and delivery of geospatial information and the 2018 show is expected to attract over 3000 visitors from more than 50 countries. Incorporating an international trade exhibition, a cutting edge conference, industry focused seminars, live commercial workshops and an innovative programme of social events. The exhibition, seminars and workshops are all free to attend and online registration will open in January 2018.
