Welcome. The latest LIDAR Magazine is now available...
View the complete magazine or scroll down for individual articles.

I hope your summer is going well. Earlier this month, our publishing company (Spatial Media) acquired the UAV Business and Technology Report, a resource I put together about a year ago. As part of the acquisition, I've assumed the role of Managing Editor for both LIDAR Magazine and www.lidarmag.com. If you'd like to know more about our plans, check out my "Above and Beyond" editorial below.
The publication you've come to know will only get better. Specialty supplements are in the works for our September (New Solutions) and October (UAS Tech Showcase) issues, releasing at INTERGEO and several other shows. If you're workign on something interesting, please drop me a line. We very much appreciate tips!

Best regards,

Roland Mangold

We May Be a Lot Closer Than We Originally Thought!
The photon LiDAR technology continues to garner much interest and will continue to do so. It is unfair at this point to lump this exciting new technology into just one category. There is Single Photon LiDAR (SPL) and there is Geiger Mode LiDAR (GML). As a result of the "Are We There ....
