intro
I hope you have been following the moving 3 part series by Paul Tice on the challenges facing the Gila River Indian Community in southern Arizona. It's an important message about the human side of the use of technology that often is overlooked. He provides his final insights in this issue.
I will be attending HxGN Live in Las Vegas, Nevada June 3 - 6. Not sure if you have seen any of the Hexagon promos, but they are promising to unveil a revolutionary new technology, so the event might be interesting.
Remember you can choose to receive either a digital or hard copy of the LiDAR Magazine on the website and encourage your colleagues to sign up for this eNewsletter HERE. We thank you for your ongoing support in building this professional community.
Best regards,

Change in the Point Cloud
Change detection\deformation analysis is a topic of great interest when working with LIDAR and other remote sensing datasets. For the sake of clarity, change detection is referred to as solely figuring out if and where there has been change, or if things are the same and is not concerned with the magnitude, or how much change has taken place. Deformation analyses determine the magnitude of change. LIDAR provides data at an exceptional ...
